1. Describe the task or activity that you were working on.
The task at hand was to find the probability of getting only heads in different flips. We would first single all the flips out. Then we paired the flips and then we put them in a group of three and so on. Then we would mathematically find out the percentage of getting a head by singling the flips, or pairing, or putting three flips together in a row. Then we would take the reality test to see if the percentage is close to the mathematical calculation. The sheet to the right is one of the wipe out worksheet that we worked on.

2. How is your work here representative of this habit? Identify specific parts that show the "habit in action."
Well after a while figuring out the different possibilities with the different flips to get the mathematical percentage of only getting heads was long and tiring. So we use the habits of the mathematician to create a rule for the different flips. The y is the number of the pairing. Like if you were to single every flip apart then it would be number one. Then x is a variable to just transfer under a one. There is a revise rule below.

3. (Answer one) How was this habit useful in helping you make progress with the task or activity? If it was not useful, how might you revise your use of this habit so that it was useful?
The habit was quite useful so we don't have to keep drawing out different possibilities of flipping a coin.
