The task was to figure out the area of these odd shapes on the grids. There was nothing special to if just finding the area, but we weren't able to finish.

The habit really took place in this activity because this is kind of a repeat of what we did earlier with the checkerboard problem.
3. (Answer one) How was this habit useful in helping you make progress with the task or activity? If it was not useful, how might you revise your use of this habit so that it was useful?
The habit was not useful, but it did take part of this activity. I don't really change what I did in this activity except try to get my whole group together and figure out this problem. the problem wasn't hard, but my group forgot what we did with the diamonds and how we measure them. Everyone had different understanding and we were trying to put our pieces together.
